Brief presentation of the institution

Arc Aroma Pure is developing the patented CEPT(r)-platform(Closed Environment PEF Treatment), a scalable device that can deliver very powerful electrical square pulses at a very high frequency. The company produces CEPT(r)-units for use in industrial applications or research applications within the academic world. The main focus is optimization of biogas production. By electroporating the biogas substrate prior to fermentation, structures on a cellular level will be destroyed and the fermentation process will be enhanced. The company has also an interest in the field of energy efficient cold pasteurization of liquid foodstuff and water. The company was founded 2008 after several years of research and development regarding different applications based on electroporation.

This field includes electroporation of cell membranes and determination of the optimal field strength and pulse settings required to create irreversible porest. The company has also an interest in the field of energy efficient cold pasteurization of liquid foodstuff and water. Within the company we have an expertise with a working background from several years within the medical device field and industrial control. Including ISO 9001, ISO13485 and regulatory issues.
