Brief presentation of the institution

The UMR 8203 belongs to CNRS and University Paris-Sud and Institut Gustave-Roussy. It is located in Villejuif, south of Paris, reachable by the Paris urban transports (metro and/or bus).

We are founders and members of the European Associated Laboratory on the Application of electric pulses in Biology and Medicine (LEA EBAM, gathering 6 laboratories in France and Slovenia), and members of the International Bioelectrics Consortium (gathering 11 laboratories around the world).

Basics of the changes occurring in the membranes of the cells exposed to ns, µs and ms electric pulses, to understand cell electroporation, cell electropermeabilization, cell fusion, etc at a molecular level.
