Brief presentation of the institution

Südzucker constantly works to improve the broad, cross disciplinary scientific and technical knowledge neede to design and manufacture products and plan future investments. This task largely falls to Südzucker´s Research, Development and Services Department. Südzucker regularly forges alliances and joint ventures with the scientific and research departments of other companies, universities and major institutes.

Expenditure for R&D in 2012/13: € 42 million. About 370 employees worldwide.
