Dear colleagues,
Many of us have met only on-line during the last year, which can hardly mimic the intense interaction of live face-to-face meetings that we all are used to. We aspire for live (instead of virtual) meetings to become possible again, to travel, to meet friends and colleagues. I am sure this will become possible again.
Until then, it is important to maintain our community alive. Allow me to paraphrase JF Kennedy by saying: Ask not what your Society* can do for You, but what You can do for your Society.
