The Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics (FRRCBE ) at Old Dominion University (https://ww1.odu.edu/bioelectrics) invites applicants for Research Faculty at a rank of Research Assistant, Research Associate, or Research Professor. This is a non-tenure track appointment supported by state funds (not by “soft” money). The successful candidate will perform cutting-edge experimental biomedical research in a broader area of bioelectrics (which encompasses bioeffects and applications of electric fields, electrostimulation, electroporation, and roles of endogenous electric fields) and actively compete for extramural grant funding. FRRCBE pioneers basic and applied research in the interaction of electric fields and ionized gases with biological systems and emphasizes cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, collaboration, and the recruitment of top tier faculty and students.
