Session Co-Organized by COST Action TD1104
September 24-26, 2014, held at the Donna Camilla Savelli Hotel, Rome, Italy
Chairs: Emanuela Signori and Federica Cavallo
The conference is dedicated to scientists working on active immunization against cancer, both in prevention and therapy, at the pre-clinical and/or clinical level. PIVAC is also an ideal environment to stimulate the interest of students and young researchers who approach this field of research.
Besides providing an up-to-date overview of many aspects of tumour immunology, thanks to its friendly atmosphere and the limited number (max 100) of participants, PIVAC fosters a lively and fruitful discussion, promoting interactions between participants, speakers and companies attending the conference and encouraging the emergence of new partnerships.
Topics covered in the conference include:
- Microenvironment
- Comparative oncology
- Peptide-based vaccines
- DNA-based vaccines
- ACT (adoptive cell therapy)
- Electrotransfer
A specific session focusing on gene electrotransfer is co-organised by COST Action TD1104 – EP4Bio2Med.
