The article proposes a strategy, where electrochemotherapy treated tumors could be used as a live vaccine in conjunction with gene electrotransfer to tumors. The article with the title “Electrochemotherapy of tumors as in situ vaccination boosted by immunogene electrotransfer” was just published as an open access article.
The proposed concept was also chosen for the front cover illustration of the October 2015 issue of Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy.
